Co-Founder
Matevž co-founded the Bass Manufactory together with Matjaž. With a deep background in both culinary arts and entrepreneurship, he’s developed and run several successful restaurants. He’s even hosted a cooking show—and written a cookbook!

The other half of our founding duo, Matjaž is a former international basketball star. Today, he brings the mindset, discipline, and experience from the court into our team and operations—leading with energy, focus, and big-picture vision.

Žiga
Head of R&D
Žiga, a.k.a. Doctor Dough, is our head of Research & Development. He’s spent years working with—yes, you guessed it—dough! From jaw-dropping sourdough loaves to beautiful artisan pizzas and everything in between, Žiga brings hands-on expertise, precision, and creativity to every batch.

Vanja
Head of Quality Assurance
Vanja makes sure everything we do meets the highest standards. As our head of QA, she inspects every pizza that leaves the manufactory. With many years of experience in the baking industry, nothing gets past her watchful eye. (Even when we try 😁)
