Privacy policy
INTRODUCTION
At Bass Group, accessible at https://www.bassmanufactory.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that Bass Group collects and records, as well as how we use it.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY
While you visit our website, we may track the following:
- Applications or products you have viewed — to, for example, show you recently viewed items.
- Location, IP address, and browser type — for purposes such as tax estimation and shipping.
- Shipping address — to estimate delivery costs before you place an order and to deliver your order correctly.
We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you browse our website.
When you place an order, we ask you to provide the following information:
- your name and surname,
- billing and shipping addresses,
- email address,
- phone number.
We use this information for purposes such as:
- Sending information about your account and order,
- Sending offers and purchase confirmations,
- Responding to your requests, including returns and complaints,
- Processing payments and preventing fraud,
- Setting up your account for our store,
- Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tax calculations),
- Improving our offer,
- Sending marketing messages (only if you choose to receive them).
If you create an account, we store your name, address, email, and phone number, which are used to pre-fill checkout details for future orders.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
CONTACT FORMS
If you send us a message via our website contact form, we collect your name and email address. The information collected in this way is used solely for communication purposes — for example, to reply directly to your message.
Messages sent through the contact form are stored for record-keeping purposes and are not used for marketing.
COOKIES
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience so you don’t have to fill them in again. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out will remove the login cookies.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics to monitor sharing of our content on social networks and to track website statistics.
Google automatically collects and stores certain information in server logs, including device event data such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, and referral URL. Cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or Google account are processed in accordance with Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
For marketing purposes, your email address may be shared with the Mailchimp platform, which we use to send email communications. Subscribing to marketing emails is optional and can be selected during checkout.
When shopping on our site, we store a record of your email and cart contents for up to 30 days. This is done to restore your cart if you switch devices or return later. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Other than this, your data is not shared with third parties and is used solely to fulfill our business relationship with you.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for changing their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
WHERE YOUR DATA IS SENT
Except for the email address shared with Mailchimp for sending newsletters, your data is not shared with anyone.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA
The website www.bassmanufactory.com is protected with the HTTPS protocol. An SSL certificate is installed on our server to ensure secure communication.
The server is protected by Patchman (provided by our hosting provider) and additional security measures implemented by Bass Group. The website is regularly monitored, and we are alerted to all intrusion attempts. Additional protection includes login attempt limits and automatic account locking in case of login attempts with non-existing usernames.

By using our website, you consent to our Privacy Policy and fully accept our Terms and Conditions. Please do not use this website if you do not agree with all the terms.
